Last week we officially received the certificates for ISO 27001 (Information Security) and ISO 9001 (Quality Management). Last April, we proved to the auditors that our processes for quality management and information security are solid, safe and well organized. Especially in regard to the upcoming stricter privacy regulations (GDPR) these ISO certificates are very welcome. The audit for these certificates will be repeated every year.
Together with Stefan van Nifterick of Molenaar and Plasman Solutions, specialists in Risk Management implementation, we’ve worked hard to get everything in order for the audit. We were audited by DNV GL. Rob Jansen of DNV GL said: “SalesQ shows that they comply with international regulations for quality management and information security. This gives their clients the security that the defined processes are carefully executed to ensure quality and information security.”
Charley Beerman of SalesQ: “The whole ISO procedure has involved our people with the management and processes of our business. Together we worked out the safest and most efficient way to organize our business. What I didn’t know beforehand, but what I found out, is that ISO is primarily focused on identifying the risks and defining solutions and actions for the moments something may go wrong.”
Double whammy: ISO 27001 and 9001
ISO 27001 is the only international norm for information security. “Information is a key asset for many businesses. Clients that entrust us with their information, expect this to be safe. These certificates confirm that we’re a trusted and solid partner. I’m very proud to comply with these requirements.” says Charley.
ISO 9001 is being used to set up and organize the quality management system. It gives our clients the assurance that SalesQ is compliant with the international laws and regulations of Quality Management and that these are optimally implemented in our working processes, and that they are continuously being improved.
